About the Creator sahar is a queer persian comic artist who likes space, telling stories, and crying too much about dead gay sailors. they are telling-retelling the tale of moby dick as a story that is deeply important to them, trying to remain faithful to the spirit of the original book, while also engaging with melville’s (always very conscious, sometimes excellent, sometimes awful) treatment of race, racism, & queerness. you can find them on Instagram, Twitter, and Tumblr, probably talking about aforementioned space, stories, and dead gay sailors, and maybe posting pictures of their cats on occasion. |
